Kilchoman Distillery was founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills on Islay, Scotland. It is the newest distillery on the island and is still independently owned by the Wills family. The distillery is currently producing single malt Scotch whiskies using traditional floor malting, Scottish barley, copper pot stills, and a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. One important fact about Kilchoman is that it is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to carry out all parts of the whisky-making process on site.
