Lagavulin


Lagavulin Distillery was founded in 1816 in Port Ellen, Isle of Islay, Scotland by John Johnston. The distillery is currently owned by Diageo. Lagavulin has a long history of producing peaty and smoky single malt Scotch whiskies. It is known for its rich and intense flavor profile. Lagavulin uses traditional pot stills and primarily malted barley in the whiskey-making process. The whiskey is aged in oak casks. Lagavulin 16 Year Old is a highly acclaimed and award-winning expression from the distillery.
