Benromach

Benromach Distillery was founded in 1898 in Forres, Scotland by Duncan McCallum. The distillery is currently owned by Gordon & MacPhail and produces Speyside single malt Scotch whiskies. The whiskey-making process includes copper pot stills, using Scottish barley, and maturing the spirit in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. An important fact about Benromach is that they are one of the few distilleries in Scotland to still use traditional methods such as mashing by hand and direct-fired stills.
